My Story: Joni Van der Veen

Joni Van der Veen with her son Bryan Dunn.

Joni Van der Veen is a highly accomplished triathlete who has had the pleasure of watching her son follow in her footsteps. But the fact that Van der Veen lived to see her son grow up is a story in of itself. As a young mother, she was involved in a horrific skiing accident that nearly ended her life. Today on Endurance Planet, a My Story edition done in conjunction with USA Triathlon, we hear Van der Veen’s amazing story of determination and perseverance. Today’s Endurance Planet is sponsored by The Right Stuff.
