October 11, 2013
-:--
We are joined in Kona by Carolyn Edrington, the National Director of Miles for Melanoma for the Melanoma Research Foundation. We will talk about how the MRF is now at Ironman events offering free screenings and also making a bigger push to increase awareness among endurance athletes. Carolyn gives a lot of insight on melanoma and the risks for endurance athletes, how we can effectively monitor our bodies and prevent skin cancer, and much more details that you’ll find extremely useful. Plus we will hear about the MRF’s triathlon program with race opportunities and new team of athletes (including one who’s racing in Kona – David Kay).
